Debina grape variety

Sort by Tags |

One of the least known Greek native varieties is Debina, used in the production of dry whites as well as superb sparkling and semi-sparkling wines. This especially sensitive grape variety cultivated in the vineyard of Zitsa, in the greater Ioannina-Epirus area, where it forms the PDO Zitsa wines. The cold climate endows Debina wines a unique fresh and mild character with aromas of green apple and pear that reveals new horizons and journeys of exploration to wine lovers.
