DOUGOS WINERY is located in the valley of Tempi, northeast of the town of Larissa, Central Greece. The estate is managed by the agriculturalist Thanos Dougos and his wife Louiza, chemist - oenologist. The vineyards are situated at altitudes of 550-650m on the southeast Olympus slopes, in the area Prosilia Rapsani. The cultivation is following the principles of organic farming with yields no more than 80 hl/ha. The grape varietals cultivated are the indigenous Xinomavro, Krassato, Stavroto, Limniona, Roditis, Assyrtiko, Batiki and the international Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah.
