DOUGOS WINERY is located in the valley of Tempi, northeast of Larissa, Central Greece. The estate is managed by the agriculturalist Thanos Dougos and his wife Louiza, chemist-oenologist. The vineyards are situated at altitudes of 550-650m on the southeast Olympus slopes, in the area Prosilia Rapsani. The cultivation is following the principles of organic farming with yields no more than 80 hl/ha. The cultivated varietals are the indigenous Xinomavro, Krassato, Stavroto, Limniona, Roditis, Assyrtiko and the French Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah.
