The vineyards of Cephalonia covers a surface area of 300 hectares at altitudes ranging from 175m to 800m and Robola is the most widely planted grape. The entire PDO zone is located in the south of the island, in the Omala Valley, and on the western and northwestern slopes of Mt. Enos, where there are many self-rooted vines on barren soil.
