Santorini is the southernmost island of the Cyclades in the Aegean. Vineyards are seen anywhere on Santorini, especially on the island’s central and northern parts. Assyrtiko grape yields the PDO Santorini dry wines and sweet wines. Athiri is another grape varietal of the Santorini, which also contributes to PDO Santorini wines.
