Deep purple colour. Aromas of red and black fruits, blackberry, black cherry and plum, with hints of spicy elements. Wild, silky and layered fresh mountain wine, with hearty tannins and pleasant acidity.

Roast wild boar of Epirus, graviera cheese of Metsovo, spicy Greek sausages, rabbit stew. Served at 16-18 °C.

The vineyards of Ioannina, Epirus.
Altitude: 500-800m. Soil: sandy clay.
Harvest: Beginning of October.
Yield: 40-50 hl/he.
Age of vines: 30 years (average).
Agriculture: Mild.
Vinification Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. Maturation in French oak barrels for 24 months.
