Deep ruby red color. Complex nose, aromas of black fruits, sweet spices, cinnamon and clove. Full body, elegant tannins and a long finish.
Roasted Greek lamb, spicy Greek sausages, Graviera cheese.
Served at 16 - 18 °C.
The vineyards ‘Drisbay’ and 'Raches Galanou' in Atalanti Valley, Central Greece.
Altitude: 250-350m. Soil: loamy, partially rocky.
Harvest: End of September. Yield: 60-70 hl/ha.
Age of vines: 18 years (average).
Classic red vinification. Maturation for 18 months in French oak barriques. Acidity: 5.2 g/L TA, Residual sugar: 1.3 g/L.
