Bright red colour with hints of ageing. A nose full of caramel and chocolate with rich velvety flavor. Harmonic and firmly structured with fine tannins.

Origin Origin
The vineyards of Mercouri Estate on the western coast of the Peloponnese, near Ancient Olympia and selected raisin crops on the highlands of Vostizza.
Altitude: 80m - 450m. Soil: clay.
Harvest: October. Yield: 40-50 hl/ha.
Age of vines: 35 years.
Agriculture: Integrated farming.
Vinification Vinification
The grapes are harvested and left to semi-sun-dry. Fermentation follows, which is stopped at the right time by the addition of pure alcohol. 5 years cask maturing, controlled oxidation and bottle ageing make the wine’s unique character. Acidity: 6.6 g/L TA, pH: 3.9, Residual sugar: 100 g/L.
