Bright golden colour with bronze hues. Intense, rich and complex nose. Raisins with burnt sugar on the palate, with dried orange peel spices and ginger bread, and hints of minerality.
Sweet and sour dishes, cream sauce, cake, ice cream.
Served at 8-10 °C.
The vineyards of Moraitis Producer Group in the seaside areas of Tsoukalia and Plakotos, Paros Island.
Soil: Sandy-argillaceous, poor and dry.
Harvest: End of August. Yield: 40-50 hl/he.
Age of vines: 25 years(average).
Sun drying of the grapes for 14 days next to vineyards site. Long fermentation for 3 weeks. Maturation in oak barrels over a period of 4 years. Acidity: 6.5 g/L TA, Residual sugar: 198.0 g/L.
