Deep crimson colour with violet hues. Aromas and flavours of ripe red fruit, marmalades, figs and sweet spices. Rich and gentle tannins, balanced acidity and complex aftertaste.
Greek lamb chops, rooster with homemade pasta and tomato sauce, Greek traditional spicy sausages, Cretan graviera. Served at 16-18 °C.

Altitude: 100-350m. Soil: Volcanic and dry.
Harvest: Handpicked, End of August.
Yield: 30 hl/he.
Age of vines: 30 years(average).
Typical red vinification techniques with prolonged extraction periods, and ageing in new oak barrels for 18 months. Acidity: 6.0 g/L, pH: 3.6, Residual sugar: 3.5 g/L.
