Bright orange-golden color. Rich and complex aroma with dominant scents of dried and sugared fruits. Exquisite structure, acidity and finesse, with a long aftertaste.

Origin Origin
Vinsanto is the most genuine descendant of 'passon oinon', as sun-dried wines were called in antiquity. During the Middle Ages the ancient volcanic Thira was renamed as Santo Erini – Santorini and thus the wine took the name Vino Santo – Vinsanto, declaring its place of origin.
Altitude: 100-350m. Soil: Volcanic and dry.
Harvest: Handpicked between 15 - 25 August.
Yield: 30 hl/he.
Age of vines: Over 50 years.
Agriculture: Mild.
Vinification Vinification
Sun-drying of the grapes for 10-12 days next to vineyards. Classic white wine vinification. Ageing in old oak barrels for a minimum of 24 months. Acidity: 8.8 g/L TA, Residual sugar: 319.0 g/L.
